We are Rojak @ Rootz, Lot10

Rojak anyone?

I was invited by Rebecca for the "We are Rojak" event held at Rootz, Lot10. I was kinda lost because I wasn't quite sure how the hell to get to the roof area of Lot 10 but in the end, I managed. So why Rojak? Just like the dish itself, Malaysia is made up of a multi-ethnic society. I was there pretty early so I got to meet more bloggers from all around :)

YTL Community being ever close to the people of Malaysia came up with this Rojak Song Event where people like you and me stand to win some really attractive prizes. Till date, 5 Google Nexus smartphone and 3 Sony Vaio Y Series Subnotebooks has been given away to some lucky winners.  More information can be found here - http://www.rojaksong.com.my/

Wait a minute!? Why give away smartphones and subnotebooks? The answer is simple. 4G

Isn't there 3G already? Is this some sort of new internet scam? Believe it or not, YTL is working on bringing 4G connectivity to us. Most of the devices now are location based. Stronger signal and faster internet speed are all based on where you are. With 4G, these will no longer be an obstacle. As mentioned by Mr. Wing, CEO of YTL, "The internet is all about culture of participation". Connectivity and speed is key nowadays. Therefore, YTL is striving to make this possible by bringing to us the power of 4G to improve our everyday operations without hurting our pockets. Sounds too good to be true? It is already proven when YTL procured the LARGEST amount of WiMAX chips for their products and that is just one of the steps taken. Nothing much was revealed yet but you get the picture.

The man himself, Tan Sri Francis Yeoh - Managing Director of YTL

Tan Sri Francis Yeoh was talking about how the internet has change our lives drastically and how YTL is venturing into the world of 4G technology. He told us that he even uses 3G to keep in touch with his family while being away from home. We have heard YTL talk the talk and they have certainly walked the walk. So here are some pictures to prove their vision and mission.
