Jim is the owner and principle master photographer of the successful photography studio - Jim Liaw Photography, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2007. Assisted by his wife, Ning, has been in wedding and portrait photography business for nearly 19 years.

To make things simple, he's one of the best wedding photographers out there; even in the international scene.

I hope that would explain my lack of updates for both photography and personal blog. Yeap, 15th of October 2011 was my wedding day. From early stages of planning till the actual day itself, lots of things happened in between. Nevertheless, I'm glad to say that everything went smoothly and according to plan, thanks to all the help that me and my wife got.

I have quite a lot of things to blog about but I shall organize these posts without rushing through them. Tips on wedding? Nah...I ain't THAT qualified to advise but I guess I can share my personal experiences and things to look out for.

Once again, thanks to all my groomsmen, bridesmaids and friends from church for making my big day a perfect one! In no particular order; See Kevin, Teik Beng, Chin Han, Heng Soon, Ruixian, Jesse, Char Lene, Lorraine, Patricia, Nicholas(my bestman!), My brother-in-law's baby boy whose name is Nicholas as well, Sharon, KC, Adrian, Ying Girl(my wife's lovely cousin), Gregory, Gidian, Joey!

I would also like to give a big shout out to:

• Pax Floral Studio for the beautiful floral arrangements
• Creative Clicks for their awesome photography work
• Visual Storytelling for recording all the sweet moments in video(High Definition mind you! :) )

I'm trying

The time was 5.30pm and I was looking forward for my evening run after work. I would normally do my runs at Bukit Jalil Park. My usual plan is to run at least 2 rounds which would be approximately 2.7KM per loop. I was consistent; alternating between running and doing weights in a week and resting whenever necessary.

If you haven't heard about it, there is a couple who abused a helpless poodle by making it stand on its feet. If it fails, the guy would either punch or kick it. What did the girl do? She was recording the whole ordeal. It's sickening to even read about it right? This news is already circulating worldwide but you can read it here from The Star.

The culprit? Doreen Loo and Allan Tan. There are even groups on facebook which are on the look out to gather more information and evidence. I think when it comes to unity, the power of internet and social network is proven here. Within a day, so much information has been gathered. The one I'm following is here. You can find all the pictures and comparison done to narrow down the culprit. To be honest, some said the Allan Tan guy is not the one in the video but I'm not sure. There are too many comments to even follow up on the actual progress. I just hope the authorities will apprehend the sick bastard and bitch.

With that out of the way, here are my lovely furkids :)

Well, obviously the first thing you will need is a portfolio to showcase your work to agencies out there. So, here’s your chance. For a limited period, Jefflamcreativestudio is offering FREE photo shoot sessions. Sessions are open to Male and Female aged between 18 – 40 years old. Since it’s free, we will only select individuals that have the potential. Those selected will also stand a chance to be part of our upcoming projects where you will be paid and your work will gain local and international exposure.

What we need from you:

1. Your profile: Name | Race | Age | Height | Weight | Vital Stats | Modeling experience (if any)
2. 3 photos of yourself with variation (eg. close up, full body shot, half body shot)
