BCard - A new lifestyle

BCard - Lots of reward awaits

I was supposed to blog about this last week but due to my busy schedule, I missed the dateline. As they say, better late than never. Anyway, I used the BCard today, yeap, TODAY. So this post is as fresh as it gets.

I was at Berjaya Times Square to get my Tamron lens's rubber grip changed. While waiting, two things came into my mind. Krispy Kreme and Starbucks! It's been awhile since I had those two. So what better way than to try out my BCard at Berjaya Times Square itself!

First stop was to Krispy Kreme. There wasn't any crowd so it was good for me. Ordered half a dozen of Original Glazed donuts.

The entire process was easy. Place your order, tell them that you wish to redeem and show your card, enter your 6 pin number and done! They will minus the points from your card. I had 10,000 points which is equivalent to RM100 in value. My Starbucks redeeming process was smooth sailing as well

This card has so much to offer and best of all, it's free! No annual fees required; we're talking about lifetime warranty here. Even though BCard is fairly new, there are more than 300 outlets and I believe it will continue to grow.

Here are some of the details of the BCard:
  • No Annual Fee
  • Points Value is fixed i.e. 1 BPoint = 1 sen (100 points = RM1)
  • Instant Redemption at any of the participating stores i.e. allow you to “cash-in” points for immediate cash rebates. What this basically means is you get to use the card to redeem for your purchase.
  • BCARD is a pre-activated card and you can use your BCARD immediately to collect points.
  • A member will receive a PIN via SMS or e-mail from BCARD after BCARD receives the member’s details from the merchant. PIN is required to check your points or to redeem at the store or online.

Registration can be done at participating outlet or you can log on to their website at http://www.bcard.com.my/v1/. For more information, you may also check out their facebook page.
