A little gift

This is not an ad but I thought I would share a site that I stumbled while surfing one night. It's a trinket blogshop. What is it? Trinket is a small (usually cheap) ornament or piece of jewellery.

Honda - Concept turned into reality

Spotted this when I was waiting for my turn at the clinic. The magazine was dated back in 2008 and now this car is seen everywhere. Technology is indeed awesome.

Express Your Love in Love! Tasmania

Have you guys entered the Express Your Love contest by Tourism Tasmania? Better hurry because you have TWO more days to submit your entries while the voting is till 27th of February 2012.

You may submit your entry too. In 100 words or less, Express Your Love! As love can be expressed in many ways, same goes for the contest. You may submit your entry in a form of poem, a passage, a song or video. If you could include Tasmania, it would boost up your chances of winning too. Word of advice for photo* or video** submission, please read the note at the end of this post.

Once your approved entries are up on Tasmania's facebook page, all you have to do next is to get your family members and friends to "LIKE" the entry. You have till 27th February 2012 to get as many votes as you can.

Winners will be announced on the 29th February 2012.

From 13th to 20th March 2012 the winners will travel to Tasmania on an overnight flight on 13th March and then enjoy 6 glorious nights in Tasmania.

The other judging criterias are :

30% Number of "LIKES" received
30% Creativeness of entry
40% Overall Presentation

Restaurant New Cheow Sang At Taman Mayang Jaya

I've been passing by this place for more than1 year and finally, me and my in-laws decided to have dinner at this restaurant. It's not that we were ignorant. It's just that we normally have dinner at home or simply have other places to dine. After dining at this restaurant, its safe to say that I have found a hearty place for Bak Kut Teh without having the need to drive all the way to Klang; this restaurant is like 5 minutes walk from my in-law's place.

Paradise Inn at Sunway Pyramid

A new restaurant is in town.

I know what you're thinking. Paradise Inn? Yes, its a restaurant and no, it is not an inn. I was told that Paradise Inn was introduced into Malaysia by Paradise Group Holdings Pte. Ltd, a Singapore based restaurant group. The design of the restaurant is quite intriguing and I can't wait to try the food.

I was watching TV the other day and there was this one ad that stuck with me. McDonald’s ad? Petronas ad? Nope… it was an air-cond ad! SURPRISE! Which got me thinking, “thank God for the creation of air-conds!” Why? Well, it’s common knowledge, after all that Malaysia has summer climate all-year long and it gets especially terribly hot during the Chinese New Year period. The sun would be scorching hot by then and to make things worse, everyone will have to “balik kampung” which makes the journey super uncomfortable! Really, the air-conditioner is a 21st century heaven-sent invention!!
