Wagyu Beef Burgers At Tony Roma's

I was invited to Tony Roma's last week to try out their awesome Wagyu beef burgers. But before the burgers came, we got to enjoy the Fried Mushrooms with honey mustard sauce. This is probably one of the must have starters at Tony Roma's. Freshly made, these mushrooms are very fragrant and the special sauce adds so much flavor. For just RM16.90, the portion is very huge so I would recommend it to be shared between 2 or more friends.

How about some Fried Mushrooms for starters?

Grilled Chicken and Roasted Vegetable Salad, RM29.90

Forget about Caesar's Salad, you should try the Grilled Chicken and Roasted Vegetable Salad; a hearty salad with a grilled chicken, zucchini, carrots, red pepper and chives blended with chopped greens, served with  tomato pesto vinaigrette dressing and toasted  cheddar  flatbread. I personally like the cheddar flatbread and its best to eat it while they are still warm :)

Fresh Scampi Shrimp Pasta, RM31.90

The amount of shrimps for this dish is crazy! Talk about being too generous. The pasta here is linguine with ALOT of shrimps which are lightly sauteed with garlic, fresh basil, tomato pesto and a hint of spicy chipotle. And to top it all, the pasta is garnished with some shaved Asiago cheese.

Now comes the Wagyu beef burgers. Wagyu beef is known to be one of the premium cuts for beef. With that said, the word "expensive" comes into mind. However, the prices for these burgers aren't too expensive for your dining pleasure at Tony Roma's.

Steakhouse Burger, RM37.90

Grilled burger topped with demi-glace, creamy Havarti and rosemary bacon, served with French fries, lettuce, tomato, red onions and pickles.

Wild Mushroom Harvati Burger, RM36.90

A straight forward and simple burger but packs a whole lot of natural flavor of the wagyu beef and wild mushrooms.

Fiery Cajun Burger, RM34.90

Juicy thick wagyu burger,  lightly seasoned with Cajun seasoning, topped with cheddar and Cajun-seasoned fried onions. The onions are pretty similar to Tony Roma's onion loaf.

Big Stack, RM34.90

A juicy all-grilled beef burger, piled high with crisp beef burger, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and Dijon mustard.

I love the consistency of all the wagyu beef patties. Best of all, even though bacon were used in the burgers, it was not too salty. My favorite is the Wild Mushroom Harvati Burger because of the flavors coming from the wild mushrooms and wagyu burger compliments each other so well.

They are also having a promotion from 11th of April 2011 till 5th of June 2011, with any purchase of these Wagyu beef burgers, you will receive a 50% discount on any Tony Roma's Milkshakes which are available in three flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry.

My vote goes to Chocolate Milkshake. Simply delicious! (I'm not kidding)
