Hi-Tea at Cinnamon Coffee House

DSC_2089
Cinnamon Coffee House is back with its latest weekend Hi-Tea spread.

Thanks to the hotel's new Executive Chef Israel Lazaroo, we get to sample more food variety with live cooking stations to prepare your fresh and delicious food. As I arrived at coffee house, I was spoilt for choices!

One thing to note is that they actually used basmati rice for the nasi lemak.

At this moment, I was overwhelmed with the wide variety of food selection. I finally sat and feast on some of the delicious food with my wife.

After sampling so much food, my wife and I were craving for something sweet. We went around the dessert section and lucky us, we stumbled upon a superb live cooking dessert station; they have crepes suzette!

We added a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side

Another specialty at Cinnamon Coffee House is their 3 layer tea. To be honest, I like the ones here. Other places are either too sweet with gula melaka(palm sugar) or the tea just doesn't go well with the mixing ratio of evaporated milk and gula melaka.

As soon as we were done with the sweet stuff(for now), we noticed that they also have soups! Crab rasam and tomato soup!

Crab Rasam. I enjoyed the crab rasam but it was a little thick and a tad bit salty. Nevertheless, I still like it for its rich flavor.

Tomato soup. Very tasty and not too salty. Just the right seasoning for a balance of flavors.

Lastly, we got to sample some of the tasty desserts at Cinnamon Coffee House.
