Merry Christmas!

Merry Guinness was officially launched last week and this time, we were privileged to have 2nd season winner of Masterchef Australia; Adam Liaw. Not forgetting the awesome venue at Doubletree Kuala Lumpur. Despite the joyous event, I was a little disappointed because I couldn't make it to the event in time to watch Masterchef Adam Liaw cook his dishes LIVE infront of 150 invited guests including chefs from participating Merry Guinness outlets nationwide. Now that I'm done sulking, I shall carry on this my blog entry.

Here are the awesome dishes from Adam Liaw's inspired menu for the night. I missed out on some as I was late(there I go again). Anyway, they were DE-LI-CIOUS.

Roasted pumpkin  soup with julienne smoked duck

Open Guinness lamb shank and mushroom pie with champ with watercress salad

Oysters with Guinness cream

Guinness BBQ  Wings apple slaw

Guinness butter roasted chicken

Crispy squid  with chili Guinness salt

Roast turkey roulade with chestnut stuffing, giblet and cranberry sauce

Wash it all down with a nice stout

Next up was another chef who was preparing cocktails, LIVE. My humble apologize for not remembering his name but I do have some shots of him in action.
