Hennessy V.S.O.P new bottle launch at Doubletree Hotel by Hilton

We're always looking forward to Friday and last week was no exception. Better yet, it was the launch of the new Hennessy V.S.O.P bottle at Doubletree Hotel by Hilton. The event was at 8.30pm so I had time to head back home to freshen up and have a light dinner before making my way to the hotel via LRT(Ampang Park stop).

When all of the VIP/VVIP/VVVIP arrived, it was time for the after party to begin. We proceeded to the first hall, decorated all in white.

Host for the night was none other than Will Quah and on the stage with him is Chris Bangle, Chief of Design during his tenure at BMW Group.

Chris was explaining how he went on designing the new bottle.

“Designing for Hennessy gave me the same sensations as working on designs for fast BMWs or a great Rolls Royce. It is that experience of a unique emotion.”

As Chris was walking by, I managed to get a shot with him despite the crowd.  An epic moment for me as I'm standing next to the man who designed the new Hennessy V.S.O.P bottle. I helped the ladies to take some photos first though :P

This is definitely going to be a moment to remember. Me and Chris Bangle himself.
