Here I go again, rumbling about the lack of updates. I'm finding it hard to update my blog these days. I'm really tied up with work and when its the weekend, its time to work on my wedding preparations. As now is the time where my Malay friends would be in the month of fasting and buka puasa, I get the opportunity to share a Ramadhan Buffet offered by Cinnamon Coffee House at One World Hotel.
I was amazed with the wide variety of Malay dishes. What caught my attention was the nasi kerabu. Best part of all are the types of condiments that goes with it. Check it out.
Condiments to go along the nasi kerabu
Next up will be dishes comprising of beef, chicken, fish, prawns and even crabs! One will definitely be spoilt for choices.
Just to offer even MORE variety, they also have a section for Indian and Chinese cuisine. There was also a section where they have tempura.
One of my favourite has got to be the Roti Jala. The ones they served are pandan flavored! Very fragrant and the curry went very well with it. The curry although looks heavy on the curry powder but surprisingly tasted other wise. As they say, never judge a book by its cover.
Another main attraction is the roasted lamb and briyani rice. Fresh slices of roast lamb to accompany the aromatic nasi briyani.
There is also a section for pasta if you would like some. Advisable to have the pasta while they're still nice and hot :)
After I was done taking photos, it was time to reveal my food selection.
Okay may be I won't reveal TOO much. Next up would be some desserts to satisfy those sweet taste buds don't you agree?
Some of the finest fruits
Assorted nuts, biscuits and crackers.
Just before we were about to leave, we got to meet the head chef that lead a great team to produce such delicious dishes.
